Went there recently for the first time. It's a different style pizza. Had the large Margherita. I'll give it a 'very good', but not great. If you want great, take a little trip to New Haven. Staff was super friendly. Now the bad news. As I'm eating with my family, I notice the owner, YES THE OWNER, repeatedly putting his bare fingers in the mozzarella bin and eating the cheese. Yes, the same bin that his employee uses to make the pies. A little disgusting if you ask me. I certainly wouldn't expect the owner of an establishment doing that. I made the waitress aware of it when I left. Hopefully, he got the message.
It is rare for me to be able to eat a meal without issues, because of my allergies. Daulton was fantastic. I asked him about cocktails, and he picked a delicious one out for me. He paid attention to my allergies and made sure the kitchen was aware of them. He also helped me pick between steak and pasta (their pasta is homemade). The shrimp caprese was delicious. I don't know if the shrimp was burned or blackened, but it was a minor thing. The squash ravioli was FANTASTIC!! From our appetizer to our desert, the service and food made a much needed date with my spouse perfect. I also watched our server deal with a couple rude tables with professionalism and kindness.
Love going here ! Had a great mothers day dinner here and many more ! Went a couple nights ago and wasnt disappointed! Every time me and my husband want to get out for a nice dinner we go here ! Wonderful staff and great prices
